Who on earth thought Red, White & MOO was a cute catchphrase?
Regardless, we'll attend. Kids need to grow up on county fairs, community swimming pools, etc., and since mine won't be attending too many church picnics we must "small town" it when the opportunity arises.

small towning it is not all it's cracked up to be. trust me. and i'm sure you're just saying "oh that's just jay, hating winnemucca like always," but you're wrong! winnemucca is a metropolis compared to the places i have been all summer and let me tell you, small towning it is just not worth it.
Wow! Someone is cranky and has seen too many in-bred Jed's!! I myself don't have much small town experience.
Hey, BLM land is burning in Colorado - will they send you out?
Of course I don't agree with my son. I believe it was a great place to raise our kids. I love small town life and can't see myself ever living in a large city again.
Hey I was on that committee...
hahaha
JK...but I bet you gasped a bit didn't you!
I did gasp... but in a good way. In a way how much fun would it be to be on a committee like that and come up with something really stupid and get everyone else on board? See, this is why I never held an exec office in the sorority... I cannot be trusted with the power.
Birdymunch - I have no frame of ref for small town, but I believe in the dream of Mayberry. Somewhere out there is the perfect small town, and I would move there in a heartbeat if I could just find it. Jay did say that Mucc was a metropolis compared to some small towns he'd been in this summer... surely he wouldn't dog the Mucc???
