So. Much. Fun.

I can't believe I almost didn't see this movie. I thought I'd be rolling my eyes the entire time... boy was I wrong! I laughed (a LOT), I cried (only during one scene, although it seems our whole coven saw me), and I smiled a ton. Truly one of the best movies I have seen in a long while... not because it has a great message, or because it will change your perspective of the world, or even that it is such a great plot. It is just an excellent "feel good movie". How they work in the songs is hilarious, the actors are delightful to watch, it is a pretty movie to look at, and just charming in its entirety. I will own this one when it comes out on DVD, and cannot wait to see it again. Just watching the trailer makes me smile and remember how much fun this movie was to see.

You must see this movie with at least one friend in tow. Giggling is part of the tremendous fun of the experience!

I SO wanted to join you all, but alas, we had plans to attend the Douglas County Fair with some other families.

Diamond and I saw the play in Vegas, and I wasn't too impressed. I'm hoping the movie will be better!

Ganelle: the movie was pretty "true" to the play except in a movie you can do more with sets/backgrounds/costumes so that made it better. I just totally enjoyed how they weave in the ABBA songs makes it a fun film. Definetly a "girlfriend" flick vs. date movie.

Dodi...it was fun and I think we were all overdue for some gal pal time, ya know?

Dodi: I think it's telling that Ganelle chose the Douglas County Fair over a girl's night. One time she actually told me she couldn't go somewhere because she had a homeowner's association meeting. And she wonders why she has no friends.

Vern: LOL! I have to say, I win. The fair beats an HOA meeting any day of the week. Now, has she told us she was getting her oil changed the other night...

Any word on how our Darling Ganelle did in the Mutton Busting competition?
