Well, aren't I something?

OK, so I'm off to go help a group (gaggle? pack? den?) of girl scout cadets get their photography badges. I'm the guest speaker at the meeting. (Yes, talking about photography! Unless a better topic comes up - like my hair or something.)

So, if I haven't yet done your family portrait you might be in for a price hike. Free sitting fees for friends may be a thing of the past now that I'm starting on a public speaking career / lecture tour. Sure, it's only a troop of girl scouts today... but after my success on zazzle.com who can doubt my abilities?

I'd like to schedule another sitting immediately, as in, before the rate hike. :) You really are something, and I would gladly pay a sitting fee for the opportunity to work with the likes of you and your great hair. Good luck with the girl scouts!

You left the funniest comment on my blog so I had to come over and return the favor. If I were in the Denver area, and I'm not, I'd have you do a family portrait because you're sarcastic, and that's our family's MO to a T.

Whenever my English teacher asks me some obscure thing like the meaning of necromancer or something I ALWAYS bust out into a rant about my new shampoo. I could talk about my glossy locks for hours... forget the photography and stress the importance of the lather rinse and... here's the secret... REPEAT.

Ahhh, yes... it is a troop. You are correct sister!

Sadly, y'all... my hair never even came up. (I can't believe it either. Not even my problamatic facial hair made the Q&A section of the evening.) But I'm sure they'll all book me for future photography badges! (Oh wait, there's probably only one. Shoot - I guess my illustrious lecture career might be at a standstill.)
